We’re excited to share that the Warm Homes Skills Fund is now open, offering free and accessible training opportunities across England for both employed and unemployed individuals. We’re also inviting local contractors and supply chain partners to get involved and help strengthen the retrofit workforce.
These courses are designed to upskill professionals and open doors for new entrants eager to support the UK’s journey toward warmer, more energy-efficient homes.
Courses Available (Part-funded):
- Basic Retrofit Awareness courses (Level 2+3) FREE
- Domestic Energy Assessor (Level 3)- Competence to carry out EPCs and pre-requisite for Retrofit Assessment training
- Retrofit Assessment training (Level 3 and 4)
- Retrofit Assessment training with historic + older-pre.1919 competence (Level 4)
- Level 3 – Energy Efficiency Measures for Older & Traditional Buildings
- Level 5 – Retrofit Coordination & Risk Management
- PAS.2038 Specialist training in non-residential buildings
- NVQ Diploma – Insulation & Building Treatments (Level 2+3)
- NVQ Solar PV Installer (Level 2+3)
