On Thursday, 25 and Friday, 26 October, we teamed up with Premier Inn and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to host a Recruitment Day at the Kennington Job Centre. This event provided over 70 of our residents with a unique opportunity to meet with Premier Inn representatives, participate in interviews, and potentially secure employment within the hospitality sector.
The results of this event were outstanding! By the end of the day, 12 attendees had been offered and accepted positions across various roles at Premier Inn, ranging from Front of House to Kitchen Team Members.
Through collaborative efforts with Premier Inn and DWP, we successfully managed to fill 50% of Premier Inn’s recruitment needs within just two days.
We’re excited to build on this success and continue connecting Lambeth residents with valuable job opportunities with local employers.
